Operations platform
A business dashboard for managing projects, teams and tasks in one place.
This is an illustrative concept, not a client project. Foundry and every company, person and figure shown are fictional.

The challenge
Picture a service business that has grown from a handful of people to several teams. Work is tracked in a shared spreadsheet, a group chat and individual inboxes. Managers spend the start of each week chasing updates to find out what is on track.
Nobody has a single view of who is working on what, which jobs are at risk or how busy each team will be next month.
The idea
One operations platform where every project, task and person lives. Work moves through clearly defined stages, each task has an owner and a due date, and progress is visible without asking.
Managers see live workload and risk across teams. Staff see a focused list of what needs doing today. Reporting is generated from the work itself rather than assembled by hand.
What it includes
- Project pipeline
- Every project on one board, grouped by stage, with owners, deadlines and status at a glance.
- Task assignment
- Tasks with owners, due dates and dependencies, plus a personal list for each member of the team.
- Team workload
- A view of capacity across people and weeks, so new work can be planned realistically.
- Activity history
- A timeline of changes and decisions on every project, replacing scattered messages.
- Live reporting
- Progress, overdue work and delivery trends calculated from real activity.
- Mobile notifications
- Alerts when work is assigned, completed or at risk, delivered to the people who need them.
How we would approach it
- A web application built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, so it runs in any browser with nothing to install.
- A database and secure server API for projects, tasks, people and their permissions.
- A React Native companion app for iOS and Android, so notifications reach people away from their desks.
